Dear Art Friends,
After the hustlebustle of December with all the beauty that came with it (art shows! lights! snow! visitors galore! holiday happenings! more|more energy!) I used the month of January to transition into a quiet and reflective entry into 2025, which I needed. In this newsletter, I’d love to tell you about what I have going on in the first half of 2025, but first, here is a postcard from my heart to yours.

Upcoming Events for Julia Martin Art:
New Beginings at NKollectiv
Nicole Korbe and the team at NKollectiv have relocated to this gorgeous new space in Englewood. Many people braved the cold and snow for a packed opening on January 18th, and we are hosting another one on Saturday, February 8th. To accompany all the new things, we have a snazzy new website! Our group show, “New Beginnings,” will be open until February 23rd.

Artmore 2025
For each Artma event, Space Gallery owner Michael Burnett selects three artists to feature their work in a special show called Artmore, held in odd years to Artma. I am honored to have been selected at the Artma 2024 event to show my work with artists Brett Matarazzo and Michael Dowling. The opening for this show will be Friday evening, March 7th (exact timing TBD). Please mark your calendars for this special event; I’d love to see you there. In the meantime, here is one of the pieces I made for the show:
Cherry Creek Arts Festival 2025
After Artmore, I will be holed up in my studio preparing for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival 2025. I am pinching myself! This is a bucket list item, and I am honored to exhibit my work at this beautiful event. Mark your calendars for July 4,5,6. I can’t wait to see you there. In the meantime, here are the 2025 participating artists:
Whether I see you in person or hear from you here, it means so much to connect in this way. I am reaching out across space and time to say hello, thank you for loving art, and thank you for being you.
Much love,
Julia
