Dear Art Friends,
I wonder how you are doing at the beginning of this December? This time of year can be so full for people, and I appreciate you letting me into your inbox. In this installment, I have a few holiday offerings, the first of which is a postcard from my heart to yours.
Two Holiday Offerings
Small Windows
With the word REPAIR on my mind and heart, I made these small windows this holiday season. Each one has a sewn scrap on the front and the word repair on the back. They can be used as an ornament or a daily reminder. They are all handmade and different. Each window comes with a small write-up about the meaning. If you would like one, please see the order form below.
Winter Prints
A couple of months ago, I had the idea to offer limited edition seasonal prints surrounding the solstices and other important dates in my life — March 21, June 21, September 21, and December 21st. I am excited to bring this idea to fruition before the Winter Solstice this year.
My winter print is based on the idea of pocket notes, which I wrote about in a previous newsletter. I have worked with a local photographer and printer to release 50 limited edition prints of this piece:
In winter, I want to go inside, both physically and metaphorically. The sentiment of private notes tucked into pockets seemed apt. This season also coincides with the birthday of my beloved friend, who died of brain cancer in 2022. In honor of her, $20 from each print sold in December will go towards the organization she founded, The Nashville Food Project.

If you prefer to make holiday purchases in person, I’ll have small windows and additional original art at the pop-up holiday market by Central Park Artists this weekend. Come say hi on Saturday, December 9th at the Central Park Artists Holiday Market. The event is 2-6 at the MCA Cube. Click here for a map to the location:
Being a full-time artist is a dream actualized. Whether you’ve supported me by following my process and journey, chatted with me at Summer Art Market, read these newsletters, or purchased my art, I want to express my deepest gratitude. These interactions are fodder for the work. I wish you peace this holiday season from a heart full of love.
Julia, those were beautiful sentiments.
