Hello Artist Friends,
Since January, I have been eagerly anticipating this show, “Raw Materials,” and today, I am thrilled to finally present it to the public. The sight of these dreams and ideas I have been chasing, now on display at NKollectiv Gallery, is a true honor. I am excited to share this experience with you. Read on for more details.
If you will be in Denver over the next month, drop by this beautiful gallery headed by Nicole Korbe. Nicole curates a lovely space with art from member artists and guest artists — there is always something new to see.
My show, “Raw Materials,” offers 11 new works in various sizes and an additional set of thirty seed packages—6x6” each. This work will be offered at NKollectiv through October 13. The gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays or by appointment, with extended hours on Fridays. You can view and purchase the work online through the NKollectiv website. Click here for non-local folks. You can also Contact the gallery for additional information.
I will be at the gallery at the following times:
Artist’s Reception Friday, September 20 (tonight) from 5:30-8:30. I’ll be sharing drinks, nibbles, and a special token of appreciation for those who can make it.
Saturday evening, September 21, for the 2024 Margins Book Festival. I’ll be in the gallery later in the evening. Margins 2024 Book Festival Info
On Sunday afternoon, September 22, at 2:00 p.m., I will give an artist talk about my process and the thinking behind “Raw Materials.”
First Friday, October 4th, we will host extended hours until 9:00.
I am also happy to meet people by appointment to discuss the work.
Tomorrow is the official beginning of Fall. Whether I see you in person or through this newsletter online, please know that it is good to connect, and I wish you a beautiful season. Take and give good care, Julia.
