Hello Art Friends,
This weekend (August 24th and 25th), I'm thrilled to share a new collection of paper quilts and pocket notes pieces at the Summer Art Market hosted by the Art Students’ League of Denver. This market has been around for 30+ years and is a beloved staple of the Denver Art scene.
Here are some details to help plan your trip:
The festival is open from 9-5 Saturday and Sunday (8/24 & 8/25)
Admission is 5$ for the whole weekend, FREE for kids 12 and younger. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
I’ll be in booth 31 (on 3rd street, near the intersection of Grant and 3rd) with my dear friend Rebecca Berman Art. Stop by and say hello!
I have marked entry points to the market in green, where you can show your pre-purchased tickets or purchase same-day tickets. Our booth location is circled in red.
After many years of attending SAM, I have a couple of pro parking tips.
Parking will be street parking. While you may find that lucky spot close by, it is much easier to find neighborhood street parking a few blocks away from the Art Students League.
If possible, wear comfortable shoes and plan to walk.
I have made a map of the most likely street parking sections, highlighted in yellow with green stripes.
Here is some of the art I will have available:

Can’t make it to SAM?
No worries —My solo show “Raw Materials” at Nkollectiv Gallery is right around the corner. It opens Friday, September 20th, and I would love to see you there. I’ll start highlighting my work created specifically for this show after SAM.
